My entry for the premier event of the year is in. Forget Kona or Ironman UK this is the big one. It is, of course, the 16th Langport Triathlon, 2009.
Ok, so it is not the biggest in terms of distance, it is only a little sprint triathlon. It is also not the biggest in terms of entries, I think it is capped at around 300. But it is the one that really matters, well if you happen to be a local.
Hopefully, this year my darling wife will be able to come along and watch, then I will be able to pop in to Eli’s for a couple of pints of cider to mark the end of the season.
