My bags are packed and loaded into the car. Everything is ready. Yet there is still a nagging feeling that I have forgotten something. That is perfectly normal for me though so I will try and ignore it.
I feel as ready as I am ever likely to and now I just want to get on with it.
Early tomorrow I will drive up to Bolton, register, rack the bike and generally flap around for a bit, worrying. Then Sunday is the big day. Hopefully the next time I write something on this blog I will be able to say I am an Ironman.
I am nervous and excited and scared and a hundred other things all at the same time. Now I am supposed to sleep, fat chance.
